The SLMA Young Members’ Forum was initiated in year 2021.
Purpose
To improve the engagement and empowerment of young doctors and medical students in the activities of the Sri Lanka Medical Association.
Objectives
1. To expand the membership of the SLMA by encouraging young doctors and medical undergraduates to join the Association
2. To support all activities conducted by the Council of SLMA
3. To improve soft life-skills among young doctors and medical undergraduates
4. To promote healthy living among doctors and the public to minimize the development of
Non-Communicable Diseases.
5. To promote all welfare activities to keep the public and the profession together on the same
wavelength
6. To further promote Environmental Health and Conservation in Sri Lanka
