The Sri Lanka Medical Association invites medical professionals to Post Congress Workshop 3: Update on Sepsis Management – From Early Recognition to Intensive Care, on 13 August 2026, from 9.30 am to 1.00 pm at the SLMA Auditorium.

This focused workshop will provide practical, up-to-date guidance on recognising sepsis early, selecting appropriate diagnostic methods, integrating blood culture with rapid multiplex PCR, and understanding the emerging role of precision medicine in sepsis care. The programme will also feature interactive clinical case discussions led by an experienced multidisciplinary panel of specialists in emergency medicine, critical care, clinical microbiology, and internal medicine.
